At least until the first 24 movie! Most of us know by now that Jack Bauer will live on past the final TV hours but the question is what will he have to do and what will it take for him to get through this current dilemma, there in lies the aderiline driven story! I am writing this as I am watching the show tonight….real time blogging. That was a class act for Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) to personalize the ending the end of the series by starting the grand finale show with a short but heartfelt Thank you and goodbye to all the Fans. The show starts with so many questions; will the corruption of the President be exposed, will the peace treaty be signed, will Jack accomplish his mission or will Logan and the current President Taylor! I am rooting for Jack and/or Daliah Hussan to expose them, this heresy and put value back into democracy. I am going to do some real time blogging tonight as I watch the show. So, here we go lets see what happens……. DARN CAN YOU BELIEVE FIREFOX JUST CRASHED AND I LOST SOME TEXT! picking up from what was saved! Oh, no Jack put Chloe down but she is coming out of it…stay smart Chloe! Yeah…Chloe she did the one thing no one else could do and that is to talk Jack down from starting an international war. However, the conseqence are not what she expected! She is given the information that can bring down the house of cards and has to shoot Jack to save his life!?! Of course the plan has backfired…. now what!!! Oh, here it comes the agreement between the weasel and the morally compromised President ….the evil plot to do away with Jack and the last shred of conscience that she may have….. Whew…she did a 380 and committed political to suicide save her last ounce of moral dignity and Jack but alas more twist and turns …..now Logan killed his aide and himself!! Kudos to the writers on that one. I will be right back gonna take a few minutes to focus on the conclusion…..as Jack takes one last look at the CTU starlight in the sky and is ready to die President Taylor calls off the hit and make her amends, Jack did not give her the absolution she was looking for (good for you Jack!) and she hangs up the phone in disgrace. Jack then take a minute to say good bye to Chloe, gives her one last directive and then let’s a tearful Chloe know how much he has appreciated her care and protection all these years. Jack takes one last longing look into the CTU Satellite camera lens before the screen breaks up into a million pieces as it does when you lose Satellite reception. I think it was a well written ending to what will be a memorible show that will be in our minds and harts for years to come. I really do not know who said this but there is a saying ” all good things must come to an end” but remember endings mean new beginnings and we will see Jack again on a bigger screen real soon! I personally can’t wait for the first movie to be released:) If you saw the show tonight what are your comments?
